About Us
Nature-Care-Cameroon (N-CARE) is a registered Cameroonian non-profit Conservation and Development Association operating in the North-West Region of Cameroon, with headquarters in Kumbo-Bui Division.
N-CARE was set-up in 2008, legalized in 2011 and run by a group of volunteers trained in diverse agricultural, environmental and community development disciplines with focus on implementing practical hands-on community driven projects aimed at restoring fragile ecosystems, species conservation, and protected area management.
Meet the team leader
Professionally trained in Environment and Agricultural Development, Mr. Lawir Felix Yuven is the Founder/Project Coordinator of Nature-Care-Cameroon.
With over ten years of field experience in the implementation of nature-based conservation and agricultural projects in Cameroon, Lawir Felix is so passionate about the environment and the wellbeing of the underserved local population. He has consistently enriched his skills and knowledge in these fields through trainings both nationally and internationally. He’s currently leading a team of five and a multitude of volunteers all committed in achieving the vision/mission of the organization.
