Team Leader

Nature-Care-Cameroon (N-CARE) has developed this strategic plan taking into consideration envisaged activities, resources and challenges in its working environment. The following strategic areas of intervention have been identified as priorities in the next three years; i.e. from 2017-2019:

I.    Conservation of degraded montane forests and community watersheds of the Bamenda Highlands in the Northwest Region of Cameroon.

II.    Promotion of sustainable agriculture with emphasis on agroforestry and organic farming.

III.    Promotion of local economic development through improved transformation and marketing of forest and agricultural products.

IV.    Promotion of environmental awareness in schools in the Northwest Region of Cameroon.

V.    Promotion of community development initiative especially hygiene and sanitation and educational support for the less privileged.

Recently, Nature-Care-Cameroon entered into partnership with the Education Information Services International (EISERVI), a local NGO with headquarters in Yaounde and BookAids International to promote the reading culture in our communities. Through this partnership, N-CARE is receiving text books from EISERVI covering different thematic areas notably; agricultural, environmental, forestry and community development books. Development workers, students, and teachers are encouraged to visit our library to have access to these books.
